A Global Force
Our founder created the first international charter for children's rights over three quarters of a century ago. That vision has since been translated into the most widely adopted international treaty on human rights, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Our mission today is to build a world where:

• all children's rights as recognised by the United Nations are translated into reality
• children everywhere are protected from harm and given the best start in life
• children and their communities can help themselves and take charge of their own lives
• children's voices are heard when decisions are taken that affect them
